CareScout's 2025 Cost of Care Survey -- the most widely cited source -- publishes New York state medians only. There is no Nassau County, Suffolk County or Long Island-specific figure from any primary source. Local Long Island pricing likely runs at or above the state median given the region's cost of living, but this site cites the state figure and says so rather than inventing a local number.
